It's funny; I wrote that on Thursday, and today in Church, the sermon was about "blessed are the merciful" (Matthew 5). As I understand it, mercy is not getting what you deserve. On Thursday, I thought the store I got my cell phone from deserved a good tongue lashing because they gave me the wrong coloured phone and told me I couldn't return it. It was hard not to give them a piece of my mind. Forgiveness didn't feel like the right thing to do, but now, I'm just glad I didn't have to sit through church feeling guilty.
