I drove by a church today that had this written on their lawn sign: “Like our sign? Try our sermon!” Yep, nothing gets my eyes-a-rolling like a good church sign. When I thought about it, I realized that this sign is how this church is getting Jesus’ message out to Saskatoon.
Let me be clear: there is nothing wrong with lawn signs. I just wonder what the best way is to make people aware of Jesus’ message. T-shirts? Church? Camp? In your opinion, what do you think best lets people know who Jesus really is?

I think our lives are good places to start when wanting to reflect Jesus. But really, who can resist a cheesy t-shirt???
I was watching AFV the other day, and winning video was this one. They showed clip of a sign that said "adult video". Then the camera panned over to a large sign just above and beside it, with some church advertisement. The staement on the billboard was "Jesus is Watching you", and it was decorated with an overly large photo of Jesus. I am not sure if the sign placement was intentional, but God can use anything to make our eyes turn to him, and speak to our hearts. Whether we think it is cheesy or not.
As for what is the most effective way to get our message across??... I would agree with Lindsay, reflecting Jesus with our lives, and being real is a good place to start....
